Become the NexGen KeyNote speaker

KeyNote extends PrimeTime's vision of helping women achieve their highest potential and encourages women to speak up in all situations.

Our KeyNote programme not only promotes inspiring female speakers through our directory but also ensures that more women develop their skills to confidently speak to an audience. Our current KeyNote speakers coach and train the NexGen KeyNote speakers. With more female KeyNote speakers, we can continue to bring more diversity to stages in Asia and around the world.

Our very first batch intake was in January 2018, and we’re happy that our next training programme will likely to start in 2020.

If you're interested in polishing your speaking skills, join us in the second batch! The training programme is open to all PrimeTime members. Let us know your interest in joining the next batch of trainees by emailing keynotetraining@primetime.org.sg.

PrimeTime membership costs S$140 per year. The training programme costs S$950 for eight sessions  over a six-month period (five weekday evenings and three half-days on Saturdays). We regret that currently, we are only able to provide this training programme for PrimeTime members in Singapore.

■ Session 1: Finding Your KeyNote

by KeyNote Speaker Mette Johansson

Tuesday, January 30, 6.30-9.00 pm

A successful speaker has a core message which she wants to spread to make the world a better place.

During this session, you’ll explore how you can change the world, and what your passionate KeyNote message will be.

The ingredients of the right KeyNote are not only your expertise and experience; it also needs your passion. However, how do you uncover that specific topic, which inspires you the most?

Based on tools from Mette's "Inspiring Values" programme, we will search for the KeyNote with which you can inspire and enthuse audiences to make a difference.

■ Stage Confidence - by KeyNote Speaker Mette Johansson

Tuesday, February 27, 6.30-9.00 pm

During this session, we will focus on improving your confidence on stage.

Stage fright is very common. In this session, we will explore how you "make the butterflies fly in formation" or manage stage fright.

Even if you don't have butterflies, you may use non-verbal and verbal language which weakens your appearance on stage. Join this session to speak and stand more confidently on stage; even when you're asked a question that you're not prepared for!
