Job Description – Volunteer Administrator, PrimeTime KeyNote Women Speakers

Many of our volunteers have found exciting opportunities of their choice having honed their skills with us and having a range of projects to showcase from their time volunteering with us.
Our focus at PrimeTime KeyNote is on building and growing our women Speakers Directory. Each year, we take in a select group of highly motivated, inspiring women to participate actively in projects we support. KeyNote training programme aims to groom the new generation of women public speakers. Following the great success of our first batch we are launching a second batch to start in October 2018.
This is a hands on role that will suit a self-starter, keen to get involved with what we do, able to communicate effectively and willing to tackle a range of tasks. The successful candidate will have responsibilities across a broad range of activities requiring a mature attitude and attention to detail.
Self starter with the ability to work unsupervised
Ability to communicate clearly and invite support and assistance from others where necessary
Ability to multi-task and problem solve
Taking charge of communication (emails, FBposts, Whatsapp polls and discussions and conference calls) for KeyNote
Liaising with trainers before the sessions and occasionally supporting during some of the sessions with room set up, record of attendance (sessions are in the evenings 6 - 9pm or Saturday 10am to 3pm)
Arranging venue and catering for the training sessions
Production, updating and managing program participants paperworkAssistance with preparation of program materialAssistance with marketing activities in liaison with the Marketing and PR leads for PrimeTimeScheduling meetings. Taking part in weekly calls with other team members to discuss eventual issues or updatesResearch into topics relevant to KeyNote
This role will work with all members of the team including the KeyNote Lead Mette Johansson, leads of various projects as well as liaising with key stakeholders from PrimeTime Board.
Our volunteer roles are structured to give our team members plenty of leadership, learning and networking opportunities. You will receive guidance and support from highly motivated colleagues who are each experts in their respective domains.
Hours & Location:
To be negotiated – we would be completely flexible. Some regularity is desirable. Location will vary. We meet at WorkCentral on Clemenceau Avenue but much of the work can be done remotely
